Herbarium – The Seed Vessels
2024
Technique:
red earthenware,
chamotte clay,
freehand modeling,
press-molding into forms
I create small ceramic containers filled with seeds of wild meadow flowers.
The whole project is called Herbarium. I see it as an allegory of home.
One way or another, we live — and then disappear.
These little vessels hold seeds you can open, scatter, and sow.
And maybe, if all goes well, a piece of meadow will grow.
I wish for us to notice one another.
To share our ability for tolerance, living dialogue, and occasional harmony —
between people, between people and nature,
between seeds, ceramics, homes… and all that connects us.
Dare to Be Gentle

Dare to Be Gentle - Milka
This is a set of porcelain trays and a candle holder,
designed for family or communal gatherings —
originally conceived for the Christmas season.
The form was inspired by the blossom of vanilla.
And as we know, vanilla gently softens the taste
of every dessert.
The vanilla fruit is rare —
for it to grow, the flower must be pollinated at just the right moment.
If everything aligns, a vanilla pod begins to ripen.
And it takes a long, long time before it reaches us.
In the same way, time spent with our loved ones is precious.
A home we can return to — a place where we feel at home.
It is care that allows our relationships to bloom.
Isn't the essence of being human, after all, being there for another?
E. Levinas
Let us live together, then, and fill the vessels of our being
with mutual care.
The Blues
When it comes to ceramics, I have deep admiration for the craft of the potter's wheel.
I myself am learning this skill — slowly, patiently.
In quiet moments, I like to sit at the wheel and throw,
as long as time, my hands, and the clay allow.
Doc. MgA. Gabriel Vach, head of the studio at FUDLS in Plzeň, once told me:
"Throwing is a craft one must grow old with."
Dubí Redesigned Porcelain Cups
2023
Porcelain cups with a redesigned handle and bottom relief. The inspiration for this redesign comes from aquatic flora and fauna — as well as the element of water itself.
After all, the bond between flame-fired ceramics and the fluid nature of water has always been a natural one.
So from a melted handle to a biomorphic relief…
I invite you for tea.
Cheers!☺
Kaleidoscope Cups
2023
Porcelain cups, silver-coated on the outside
In this piece, I created the form of a cup whose surface, once silver-coated to a mirror finish, reflects its surroundings.
When you place the cup on any symmetrical pattern, the image is fragmented across its surface,
creating kaleidoscopic shapes and reflections.

The Birth of Venus
This project was created in collaboration with Pragostroj, a company focused on 3D printer development and the production of functional industrial components.
Our task was to design a representative porcelain set that the company could present as a gift to its valued clients.
The design features a decorative relief that reflects the layering process typical of 3D printing — a visual reference to the technology they develop.
The shaping of the set was inspired by the gentle curvature found in the lace-like bottom edge of a seashell.

The reflection of life is a fractal of living — endlessly repeating in fascination, fear, and beauty.
We will not find its beginning, nor see its end.
In the current of time, we drift through the act of living.
